Paper recycling yields recycled paper as the end product. Paper recycling is the process in which the paper which is no longer in use, is remade into new paper products. Around 60% of the landfill problems in the US are due to the paper industries. These landfills yield toxic wastes which are emitted as VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds) into the atmosphere.

Tree free paper, although not considered as recycled, is environmental friendly paper. It is similar to recycled paper as it is acid free, requires fewer chemicals, less energy and can be recycled. There are many varieties of recycled paper available in the markets that are of high quality and hence giving no excuse of not being used.
